What is Swedish Massage?
Swedish Massage a type of massage therapy that uses smooth, gliding strokes called effleurage. Other classic Swedish massage moves include kneading, friction, stretching and (sometimes) tapping. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and to encourage overall health.

What is Deep Tissue Massage?
Deep Tissue Massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as in classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.

What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?
Lymphatic Drainage Massage combines gentle pressure with soft pumping movements in the direction of the lymph nodes in the body. Lymphatic drainage massage pressure is usually much lighter than other forms of massage therapy and the movements are generally slower. Lymphatic drainage massage therapy is performed using the pads of the fingers and thumbs and/or the palms of the hands. The therapist presses rhythmically with her fingertips and hands to increase and decrease the pressure to create the suction and pumping effect (which mimics the natural action of the body in relation to this system).

What is Ear Candling?
Ear Candling requires the use of ear candles. Ear candles are made of cotton or linen that's wound into a cone shape, soaked in wax, and then allowed to harden. This hollow candle is inserted through a hole in a plate specially designed to collect wax, and placed into the external ear canal. The candle is lit at the opposite end. This creates a low-level vacuum that draws ear wax and other debris out of the ear and into the hollow candle. After the procedure, a dark, waxy substance is usually left in the stub of the candle. Proponents of ear candling claim that it can help to remove ear wax and debris from the ear and facial sinuses. Other manufacturers claim that smoke from the burning candles dries out the ear canal and stimulates the body's natural excretion of wax and dead cells, pollen, mold, parasites, and other debris.
